In comes Hamlin cycles. I called and spoke with Adam and told him what I wanted. In collaboration with Jim Hamlin , they had a fabricator manufacture a custom made stainless steel bracket extremely inexpensively. The lights were mounted aesthetically and look beautiful. With yellow slip on covers (Adam suggestions ), I was extremely visible.
In summary, an extremely professional, clean and organized shop. The personal match the shop and definitely worth the ride.

I was planning on purchasing clearwater lights and having them installed on my MG California 1400 tourer. Clearwater did not make brackets specifically for the big goose and I didn't want the uinversel mount low in the crash bar area. That was difficult for most local dealers to come up with improvise mounting solutions.
I'm new to motorcycling this year, so I wanted to get the bike I picked out looked over to make sure it was actually road worthy and didn't urgently need any work done. I brought it here based on the good reviews. I'm glad I did. Very friendly people, quick responses to emailed questions, very knowledgeable and helpful. I definitely feel way more comfortable having these guys nearby as I start out motorcycling.

Jim and the crew at Hamlin far exceeded my expectations. I used to bring my CBR600rr to Honda in Danbury. They were like a bunch of monkeys and Jim and the guys at Hamlin are professional mechanics. I was constantly over charged at Honda and the work was always so sub par it wasn't even funny. The team at Hamlin went far above my expectations and at a reasonable price. My bike has never felt better. Even though I had asked for more expensive products they had in stock they advised me unless I was taking it to the track which I am not yet it would just be a waste of money. That kind of honesty is refreshing in the repair business which I work in but a different industry so I get it. My bike felt alsmost better than brand new. They even went so far as to clean the chain which Honda never had once did even when I asked. They simple said we can replace it. The guys at Hamlin said it is still good it just needs to be cleaned thouroughly. They were also willing to clean and oil my k&n air filter something Honda would not. They not only replaced the brake pads with ebc pads but cleaned the calipers and re bleed the lines. I will never bring my bike anywhere else again. Thank you.
