I didn't want a cake from the local grocery store which is why I was willing to pay so much for such a small cake, (the order was $52 for a 7" cake which is about twenty bucks more than most local bakeries like, the Sweet Spot in New Milford, for example who HAS customized over a dozen cakes for me and who has blown me away each time, by the way) would charge.

The morning of, I attempted to pick up. Cute place. But, the order was off. The lettering was in multiple pastel colors with flowers. I still would have taken it due to lack of timing, (I had errands to run and a house to clean and I don't necessarily have the time to run around in search of another cake), had it not been for the owner's awfully poor attitude when he said, "if you wanted a custom order, you should have come in. You don't have to take the cake."

Fantastic food and desserts. A very relaxing setting. They sell handmade Folk Santas during the holidays that are just remarkable and whimsical.

I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will ensure this review is posted within the appropriate forums.

If you own the place, your customer's negative experience IS your problem.

Love love love this place!!! Great ambiance... eclectic decor, no two tables alike... so much to look at... very cool place! Great food for breakfast and lunch! They Take credit and debit cards as well. Also handicap accessible. New favorite place!

This wasn't a custom order. Anybody can walk in or call their local bakery and the front desk should be able to accurately capture the colors being requested for lettering on the cake.

I was feeling really good about this place. I wanted to try it out because I have a wedding coming up and thought I might be able to utilize them for the shower, engagement party or reception so I placed an order for a 7" round carrot cake with white frosting and red lettering for my father in law to be's Birthday.

Wrong, my friend. You hired your employee.

Once we left, my fiancée called to complain as we did not want to cause a scene since there were folks sitting down having coffee within the establishment. It wasn't so much the order, it was the attitude and sheer disrespect.

The reviews from those that will no longer patronize your business will also become your problem.

I placed the order 2 days in advance and centered my morning around pick up. I had a whole discussion with the kid I spoke to on the phone about wrapping the box up to keep it fresh, etc. because the party wasn't until the next evening but due to their limited hours, I would have to pick up in advance. Ok, no problem.

Once he was so very rude, we determined it would be best to find another cake elsewhere. We would rather not give business to such an arrogant, unprofessional person.

Great breakfast sandwiches! Atmosphere is very nice nicely decorated. Lots of small fun things (antique cameras, bicycles, small tools etc...)

The owner of this establishment was so incredibly rude to my friend that I will never patronize Panificio again. There is no excuse for yelling at a customer for asking a polite question. He is also insensitive to those who may not eat ham, for religious or other reasons. He will only change a sandwich to exclude ham for a large fee and he is very nasty about doing so.

The owner stated, "it's not my fault they got your order wrong" and hung up.
